My dishwasher is not filling with water

If your dishwasher is not filling with water, there are a few easy things you can do to resolve this issue. Below you’ll find some of the typical reasons for your dishwasher not filling, the parts involved, and some advice on how to fix the problem yourself.

1. Water supply

Check if the dishwasher water supply valve is switched on before proceeding. It is easy to forget to switch it on, especially after coming back from a holiday. Be sure to also inspect for any visible damage.

2. Kinked or blocked hose

Inspect the dishwasher supply hose and untwist any visible kinks or bends.

Step-by-step guide: How to check that there are no kinks in the supply hose.
